Taste the Willamette Valley with a WSET Certified Wine Professional

Your dedicated guide, a WSET Certified wine professional, will pick you up from your location around 9:00am so that our first tasting in the Valley is usually at 10:00am. The Willamette Valley wine region, once known for its fruit orchards and nurseries, has become one of the United States’ premier producers of cool-climate varietals like pinot noir. As you enjoy the 45 minute ride to the wine country, we will educate you about the history of the Willamette Valley and what makes it so unique in the world of wine. Please note, five or more people become a Private Wine Tour automatically for the same price!

At our first stop (usually Anne Amie, J. Christopher, or Bella Vida), you will see a beautiful vista with the morning fog rising in the distance. At our second stop, Durant Vineyard at Red Ridge Farms, we will enjoy a beautiful charcuterie platter of locally sourced treats as we enjoy a diverse flight of Rose, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. With stunning views of Mount Hood and the Cascade Mountain Range, a lavender farm and a lovely gourmet gift store, this is bound to be one of your favorite stops. Next, we head off to another AVA (American Viticulture Area) of the Valley to visit Arbor Brook, Domaine Divio, or Bergstrom’s. All three of these unique wineries provide great Pinot Noirs with lovely views among the vines. Leaving the Valley around 3:00pm, we return to your location around 4:30pm just in time for a little rest and a wonderful dinner.
