Religiously Drinking Wine

Historically, Spanish Missionaries via Mexico grew vines in California (the Mission grape) to make sure that a vital part of the Catholic mass, the communion, was able to occur.  Today’s tour was donated to the Raphael House of Portland last year as a fundraiser.  The Raphael House is a multi-faceted domestic violence agency dedicated to ending intimate partner violence for good, and this tour reminds me that we are all part of a community.  Regardless of religion, sexual preference, ethnicity or religious beliefs, there is nothing wrong with religiously drinking wine!
