Gravel roads lead to delightful boutique wineries and scenery good enough for the big screen. These two couples were celebrating 24 and 32 years of marriage, respectively, with a tour through three of the Willamette Valley AVAs. A bonus fourth AVA to compare the nuances of Pinot Noir at one of our stops helped make the soil differences apparent. At the last stop, we witnessed bud break and clay pots, while on the lookout for grazing sheep and destructive, but cute, pigs. Click the collage for the photo album.
